The Impact You'll Make:

As Director, Control Brand Transformation, you will act as the SVP's operating partner and central coordination point across the Control Brand transformation agenda. This is a newly created role accountable for helping the SVP translate strategic priorities into a clear operating rhythm, integrated workplans, executive-ready materials, decision forums, follow-ups, and cross-functional accountability. You will work directly with the SVP on priority workstreams including brand transformations, Board and executive materials, annual planning, governance, and critical cross-functional initiatives. This is a senior transformation orchestration role, coordinating across senior leaders and teams to ensure transformation workstreams move with pace, discipline, and clarity.

What You'll Do:
  • Establish and manage the operating rhythm for the Control Brand transformation, including leadership meetings, workstream reviews, decision forums, executive updates, and follow-up mechanisms.
  • Ensure the SVP has clear visibility to priorities, risks, decisions required, stakeholder issues, and upcoming enterprise commitments.
  • Create the structure that enables the leadership team to operate with pace, alignment, and accountability.
  • Lead coordination across priority transformation workstreams, including brand transformation, annual planning, Board materials, executive reviews, and other SVP-led strategic initiatives.
  • Manage integrated timelines, milestones, deliverables, owners, and dependencies across workstreams.
  • Ensure workstreams are connected, sequenced, and not duplicative.
  • Work closely with the SVP to capture priorities, decisions, expectations, and actions from meetings and convert them into clear execution plans.
  • Ensure decisions are documented, owners are assigned, timelines are clear, and follow-through is actively managed.
  • Identify where issues require SVP intervention and where they can be resolved at the team level.
  • Establish clear governance for cross-functional workstreams, including agendas, pre-reads, decision logs, action trackers, escalation paths, and status reporting.
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, misalignment, unresolved decisions, and resource constraints.
  • Drive resolution quickly by engaging the right stakeholders and escalating with clear options where needed.
  • Support the SVP in preparing high-quality materials for senior executive meetings, Board discussions, annual planning, transformation updates, and key decision forums.
  • Synthesize complex inputs into clear, concise narratives that are appropriate for executive audiences.
  • Ensure materials reflect strategic clarity, commercial logic, enterprise impact, and credible execution plans.
  • Act as the single point of coordination across teams and stakeholders for SVP-led transformation priorities.
  • Ensure seamless information flow between the SVP, direct reports, cross-functional partners, and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Travel with the SVP to key meetings where required, ensuring context, decisions, actions, and follow-ups are captured and advanced.

What You'll Bring:
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, program leadership, business operations, consulting, retail, CPG, or complex matrixed environments.
  • Proven experience leading multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of Loblaw or a similarly complex enterprise environment; prior LCL experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex information into clear plans, narratives, and executive-ready materials.
  • Highly proactive, organized, action-oriented, and comfortable driving accountability across senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels.
  • Advanced communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
