Summary of the Position:
Assist in oversight of the day-to-day asset management of the New York commercial portfolio, excluding Rockefeller Center. Assist in supporting the Analysts, Associates, and Directors responsible for the portfolio, ensuring high-quality work, timely execution, and effective decision-making. Serve as a key facilitator of asset-level strategy and operations while coordinating with senior management, various internal departments and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee day-to-day asset management activities across the New York commercial portfolio, excluding Rockefeller Center.
· Lead Penta meetings by reviewing reports in advance, developing questions, and ensuring meetings remain focused on analysis, priorities, and decisions.
Review monthly operating statements in detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clean reporting.
o Monitor asset performance against approved budgets and identify operating variances, risks, and required actions.
o Maintain close collaboration and communication with property management teams.
· Oversee lender and investor reporting, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
· Drive major recurring processes, including annual budgeting, quarterly valuations, and quarterly asset reviews.
· Identify and implement opportunities to improve team and asset-management efficiencies.
Skills & Qualifications:
· 6+ years of experience in an analytically rigorous Real Estate role, with acquisitions and / or asset management experience in Class A office
· Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the drivers of office property performance, including asset positioning within the market, leasing, physical improvements, marketing, working with brokers and working with property management.
· Is a strong collaborator who can lead and motivate both internal and external team members who are not direct reports.
· Strong creative problem-solving skills.
· Effective written and oral communication skills.
· Proficient in Excel, ARGUS Enterprise, and financial modeling.
· The ability to work effectively with both peers and senior executives in a highly entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment.
