Director, Application Engineering Jasper Group is seeking a technically capable and collaborative leader to guide our Application Engineering team and support the future of manufacturing technology. The Director, Application Engineering will lead software development initiatives, partner with business teams to improve systems and processes, and help drive innovation using both traditional and AI-enabled development tools. Requirements This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys solving complex problems Leads through collaboration and communication Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Wants to help shape technology strategy and continuous improvement Has a passion for development, systems, and innovation What you'll do: • Lead a team of developers and business analysts • Support application and database troubleshooting • Develop solutions using modern and AI-enabled tools • Partner with business teams to define system requirements • Participate in IT leadership, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery initiatives • Drive continuous improvement across the organization What we're looking for: • 5-10 years of related experience • Strong SQL Server and application development knowledge • Experience with ERP and MES systems • Familiarity with .NET, Azure, O365, Docker, and reporting tools • Manufacturing environment experience preferred • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
