General Summary:

As a member of the Product Management team, directs a comprehensive AI Software product strategy focused on Windows AI platforms, AI PCs, ONNX Runtime, AI frameworks, Agentic AI, and heterogeneous compute acceleration across CPU, GPU, and NPU architecture. Drives product conception, roadmap definition, ecosystem engagement, and execution through product lifecycle, enabling industry-leading AI experiences on Qualcomm platforms.

The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing AI software technologies and developer ecosystems, translating market requirements into differentiated software products and platform capabilities. This role requires deep expertise in

AI frameworks, inference runtimes, Windows AI software architecture, and emerging Agentic AI workflows.

The candidate will work closely with engineering, ecosystem partners, OEMs, ISVs, Microsoft, and strategic customers to define and deliver next-generation AI software capabilities for AI PCs and edge AI platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of AI inference software stacks, model deployment workflows, and optimization across CPU, GPU, and NPU accelerators.


  • Deep understanding of ONNX Runtime, Windows ML, Windows AI platform architecture, and AI PC ecosystem requirements.


  • Experience with PyTorch, ONNX, RoCm, Hugging Face, OpenVINO, TensorRT, CoreML, or comparable AI software frameworks.


  • Strong knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, multimodal AI, Agentic AI architectures, RAG systems, tool calling frameworks, and AI orchestration solutions.


  • Understanding of compiler and runtime technologies including MLIR, graph optimization, kernel fusion, quantization, model conversion, and hardware-aware optimization.


  • Experience analyzing tradeoffs among performance, accuracy, latency, memory footprint, power efficiency, and developer experience.


  • Familiarity with Windows application development ecosystem and AI SDK integration models.


  • Knowledge of AI model onboarding and optimization workflows across edge and client platforms.


Product Leadership

  • 8+ years of Product Management, Engineering, Technical Marketing, Solutions Architecture, or related experience.


  • 5+ years leading AI/ML software products or platform technologies.


  • Proven ability to define software roadmaps and influence cross-functional execution across engineering, business, and ecosystem teams.


  • Experience driving partnerships with operating system vendors, framework developers, cloud providers, OEMs, and ISVs.


  • Track record translating customer and ecosystem requirements into product investments and measurable business outcomes.


Business & Communication

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.


  • Experience engaging customers, strategic partners, and senior leadership.


  • Ability to lead through influence across geographically distributed organizations.


  • Demonstrated success driving complex initiatives from concept through commercial deployment.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the AI software product roadmap for AI PCs and edge AI platforms, spanning inference runtimes, frameworks, developer tools, and ecosystem integrations.


  • Develop long-term strategy for ONNX Runtime, Windows AI software enablement, and heterogeneous acceleration technologies.


  • Identify emerging market opportunities and technology trends in GenAI, Agentic AI, multimodal AI, and AI-powered productivity experiences.


  • Establish product requirements and success metrics aligned with customer needs and business goals.


Ecosystem & Platform Leadership

  • Drive Qualcomm's engagement with Microsoft, ecosystem partners, framework communities, ISVs, and strategic customers.


  • Lead platform differentiation initiatives covering ONNX Runtime optimization, Windows AI integration, and AI application enablement.


  • Influence framework roadmaps to maximize performance and usability on Qualcomm AI PC platforms.


  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to accelerate adoption of Qualcomm AI technologies.


Technology & Customer Engagement

  • Work closely with engineering teams to define software architecture priorities and investment areas.


  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and define platform requirements for future hardware and software generations.


  • Translate customer feedback and market insights into differentiated roadmap strategies.


  • Define benchmark methodologies, workloads, and evaluation frameworks for AI software performance and usability.


Cross-Functional Execution

  • Drive alignment across Product Management, Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, and Program Management organizations.


  • Ensure successful delivery of roadmap commitments and platform capabilities.


  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure ecosystem adoption, developer engagement, customer success, and product impact.


  • Lead executive reviews and provide regular updates on strategy, execution progress, and market trends.


Industry Leadership

  • Represent Qualcomm in industry forums (such as UXL, MLPerf), partner engagements, conferences, and customer briefings.


  • Maintain leadership awareness of competitive AI software frameworks, runtimes, developer tools, and ecosystem developments.


  • Drive innovation that strengthens Qualcomm's position in AI PCs, edge AI, and future intelligent computing platforms.


Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$198,200.00 - $297,400.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
