Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering (environmental, biotechnology, chemical, civil, mechanical, agricultural, or forestry).
  • A master's degree in engineering or environmental management, and/or familiarity with ISO 14064 and climate change adaptation standards is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of GHG regulations and programs (RDOCÉCA, PTMOBC, TCFD, etc.).
  • Proficient in GHG accounting standards (ISO 14064 parts 1 and 2, Global Protocol, Corporate Value Chain Standard, 14067, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Canada as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise complex GHG inventories and action plans.
  • Develop and implement defensible methodologies for quantifying innovative technology projects.
  • Ensure technical quality control of deliverables and analyses.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects, employees, and timelines.
  • Prepare and review technical and financial proposals.
  • Manage client requests and expectations.
  • Develop new services and approaches to meet market needs.
  • Contribute to achieving revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Represent the organization at events, conferences, and strategic meetings.

Full Job Description
Faites votre marque au sein de note équipe Environnement, responsabilité sociale et gouvernance (ESG) à titre de directeur(trice) en GES.

L'expertise de notre équipe est la vérification, la validation et la quantification des émissions de gaz à effet de serre (GES). Notre clientèle est principalement composée de municipalités, de PME, de grandes entreprises et d'organisations du secteur public.

Responsabilités

  • Diriger et superviser la réalisation d'inventaires GES et plans d'action complexes.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des méthodologies de quantification prudentes et défendables pour des projets de technologies innovantes.
  • Assurer le contrôle de la qualité technique des livrables et des analyses.
  • Gérer simultanément plusieurs projets, employés et échéanciers.
  • Préparer et réviser des propositions techniques et financières.
  • Gérer les demandes et attentes des clients.
  • Développer de nouveaux services et approches répondant aux besoins du marché.
  • Contribuer à l'atteinte des objectifs de revenus et de rentabilité.
  • Représenter l'organisation lors d'événements, conférences et rencontres stratégiques.


Compétences et expérience recherchées

  • Diplôme universitaire en Génie (de l'environnement, biotechnologique, chimique, civil, mécanique, agricole ou forestier).
  • Une maitrise en génie ou en gestion de l'environnement et/ou une connaissance de base de la norme ISO 14064 et/ou dans le domaine de l'adaptation aux changements climatiques seraient considérées comme un atout.
  • 5 ans d'expérience en consultation (un atout).
  • Bonne connaissance des différents règlements et programmes en place dans le secteur des GES et risques climatiques (RDOCÉCA, PTMOBC, TCFD, etc.).
  • Maîtrise des normes et référentiels de comptabilisation des GES (ISO 14064 parties 1 et 2, Global Protocol for Community-Scale Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventories, Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard, 14067, etc.)
  • Excellentes habiletés de communication écrite et verbale en français et en anglais
  • Être disposé à se déplacer un peu partout au Canada, au besoin.
