Dining Services Director Luxury

Director of Dining Services Luxury Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Director of Dining Services to lead senior living dining, culinary operations, and hospitality. Deliver restaurant-quality meals and personalized service that support resident wellness. Responsibilities • Lead dining services, menus, food preparation, meal presentation, and hospitality. • Hire, train, schedule, coach, and lead dining team members. • Manage food purchasing, inventory, vendors, food costs, labor budgets, and financial performance. • Ensure food safety, sanitation, HACCP, health code compliance, ServSafe standards, and records. • Coordinate modified diets and nutrition needs with Wellness teams and dietitians. • Engage residents and families, gather feedback, and support special events. • Monitor food quality, portions, temperatures, sanitation logs, and equipment. Qualifications • Culinary arts, hospitality, or food service management degree/training preferred. • 4-5 years of hospitality or fine-dining supervisory experience. • 5+ years of high-volume cooking experience; equivalent hospitality experience may qualify where an Executive Chef is present. • Current ServSafe certification; knowledge of nutrition, modified diets, and food safety. • Experience managing food and labor budgets; strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
