Job Description:

We are seeking a Digital Product Designer to help shape and elevate customer experiences across our web commerce ecosystem. As part of A&F's Experience & Digital Product Team, this role partners cross-functionally to translate product strategy into intuitive, scalable experiences that connect customer needs, brand storytelling, and business goals.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Own the end-to-end design process for web initiatives, from discovery and ideation through delivery and optimization.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Analytics to identify opportunities, define solutions, and measure outcomes.
  • Design intuitive, responsive experiences across the digital commerce journey, including browse, search, product evaluation, and purchase experiences.
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative insights, including research, usability testing, analytics, and experimentation, to inform design decisions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and detailed specifications with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring solutions are thoroughly considered, well documented, and implementation ready.
  • Contribute to and evolve the Design System to drive consistency, scalability, accessibility, and efficiency across experiences.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Content, and Merchandising partners to translate brand vision into engaging and scalable digital experiences.
  • Partner closely with engineering throughout development, providing clear handoffs, rigorous design QA, implementation support, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure designs are translated accurately and delivered with a high level of quality.
  • Participate in design reviews, critiques, and agile ceremonies, helping drive quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools and workflows, to improve design quality, speed, and effectiveness.


What Do You Need To Bring?
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital product design, UX/UI, or a related field.
  • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end experience designing and shipping customer-facing digital products.
  • Strong visual, UX, and interaction design skills with a customer-centered approach to problem solving.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a sharp eye for visual accuracy, interaction quality, and implementation fidelity throughout the design, QA, and delivery process.
  • Experience creating design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility standards, and modern digital commerce experiences.
  • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to inform and validate design solutions.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional product teams.
  • Ability to balance innovation with execution, leveraging established patterns and frameworks when appropriate.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI throughout the design process.
  • Ability to work effectively in an iterative environment that values feedback, collaboration, and continuous learning.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing eCommerce, retail, or consumer-facing digital experiences.
  • Experience designing across complex customer journeys, including navigation, browse, search, product evaluation, checkout, fulfillment, and account experiences.
  • Familiarity with content authoring platforms and content-driven digital experiences.
  • Experience working with Design Systems at scale.

This role allows for remote work across the U.S.. Therefore, in states and cities that require the hourly or salary compensation or pay range to be included in a job posting, the recruiting pay range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your years of experience, your work location, comparison to other employees in similar or related roles, or market demands. The range may be modified in the future.
