Digital Network Exploitation Analyst, Senior

As a network and access discovery analyst, you will use your specialized technical experience to support cyberspace operations and enable the success of mission owners.

As a Digital Network Exploitation Analyst on our team, you will provide expert analytic support while working alongside the mission owners to tackle complex and challenging problems in computer network analysis, network exploitation, digital network intelligence, dataflow, access development, and target network analysis. Your duties will require you to leverage an understanding of ports, protocols, networking devices, and common exploitation frameworks. This will provide an opportunity to grow your expertise, develop new skills and tradecraft, use and share your methodologies and tool experience with other analysts, and most importantly, be a part of a team conducting offensive cyberspace operations that are crucial to national security.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis
• Experience recognizing technical and operational gaps and identifying appropriate collection, analysis, or testing activities to reduce associated unknowns
• Experience analyzing Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, SMB, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN, or cloud
• Experience developing, adapting, or improving DNEA methodologies, exploitation workflows, technical tradecraft, or analytic processes, and mentoring and developing DNEAs and improving the technical and analytical capabilities of an operational team
• Knowledge of network protocols, authentication mechanisms, encryption, operating systems, enterprise network architectures, virtualization, and common security technologies
• Ability to lead complex DNEA efforts from initial mission requirement through target analysis, exploitation development and support, operational execution, and transition of results to appropriate mission stakeholders
• Ability to evaluate exploitation opportunities based on technical feasibility, mission relevance, operational risk, and likelihood of success
• Ability to communicate complex network findings, exploitation concepts, technical assessments, risks, and recommendations to senior government and military leadership in concise, decision-relevant terms
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with network exploitation, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, red teaming, adversary emulation, or authorized offensive cyber operations
• Experience supporting joint cyber operations or comparable cyber mission organizations
• Experience operating in highly collaborative environments involving intelligence analysts, cyber operators, planners, engineers, vulnerability researchers, and mission leadership
• Experience serving as the primary DNEA expert for an operational team, mission, target set, or customer
• Experience developing or maintaining technical exploitation capabilities, methodologies, or tradecraft used across multiple missions or target environments
• Experience identifying opportunities to automate repetitive technical analysis or exploitation activities
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Network+, Security+, CEH, OSCP, OSCE, CCNA, GIAC, or comparable technical certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
