JOB DESCRIPTION

Digital Channels Strategy and Operations is hiring an individual contributor to lead Digital’s investment and quarterly planning, and to maintain a single, sequenced rolling 6‑quarter (6Q) roadmap across mobile, web, and platform/middleware. The role produces the planning materials leaders rely on to make decisions and maintains a curated, Jira-grounded source of truth aligned to existing planning artifacts. This position is central to how product and technology teams plan and deliver creating clarity on priorities, capacity, sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs while remaining separate from day-to-day delivery execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end quarterly Digital planning process (timelines, templates, standards, QA/quality checks).

  • Deliver leadership planning artifacts for monthly updates, quarterly forums, pre-reads, and rollups.

  • Drive stakeholder adoption across a matrix via clear expectations, lightweight templates, coaching, and follow-through.

  • Build and maintain a single sequenced 6-quarter (6Q) Digital roadmap showing priorities, dependencies, and sequencing logic.

  • Reconcile Jira + planning inputs into a curated, trusted “source of truth” for leaders.

  • Establish lightweight change control to protect commitments and reduce unplanned deviations.

  • Create executive-ready narratives and talk tracks for Product and Technology leadership.

  • Surface tradeoffs, capacity impacts, risks, and decision points to accelerate alignment.

  • Anchor capacity allocation reporting using the standard methodology.

  • Improve forecast vs. actual accuracy by translating Jira signals into insights and variance explanations.

  • Escalate discrepancies early and increase visibility into dependencies, handoffs, and shared milestones across workstreams.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in one or more of: product operations, portfolio/roadmap planning, program planning, PMO, or digital product/technology planning in a large, matrixed organization.

  • Strong working knowledge ofPDLC conceptsandAgile ways of working.

  • High fluency withJiraas a system of record; ability to translate delivery data into planning artifacts and governance-ready outputs.

  • Proven ability to design planning processes/standards/artifacts and drive adoptionwithout direct authority.

  • Executive-level communication skills (clear writing and presentations): can synthesize complexity into options, risks, and tradeoffs.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills, including managing upwards to secure timely inputs and alignment.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in financial services or another regulated environment; understands how governance expectations shape planning and transparency.

  • Experience supportingdigital channels (mobile/web)and/orplatform/middlewareteams; comfortable integrating shared dependencies into one plan.

  • Demonstrated experience with Capacity planning and allocation reporting and Portfolio reporting and governance cadences
