Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary: This position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke's Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the direction of the Radiology Director, is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the department including billing, scheduling, productivity, daily rounding with staff. The Radiology Manager collaborates with the director on hiring, annual reviews, discipline, and other personnel responsibilities. The Radiology Manger will hold his/her staff to the highest levels of excellence in quality and patient satisfaction. Works with the Radiologists and other physicians to improve department operations and quality. The Radiology Manager will work collaboratively with the Radiology Director to develop new service opportunities, identify growth strategies, streamline operations, improve quality outcomes, and lead patient satisfaction initiatives. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

II. Position Requirements:

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Prefer completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology school training program or an armed services program that qualifies for approval. BLS required.

B. Education: Prefer Bachelor's Degree. Associate's or equivalent required.

C. Experience: Prefer 3 years recent hospital Radiology supervisory experience. Skills commensurate with formal training requirements.

D. Special Qualifications: None required.
