In this role you will provide security engineering services to support software assurance through the design and deployment of a DevSecOps environment. Additionally, the Contractor will support development and writing / coding of new (or modify existing) computer applications, software, or specialized utility / programs following software assurance best practices.
- Assist the Government in analyzing / reviewing user needs and software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints to develop solutions which provide automated compliance and security posture management from risks due to cyber threats and regulatory compliance issues.
- Assist the Government in performing prototype evaluations of the DevSecOps environment implementation, including programs and software applications to ensure the desired information is produced and instructions are correct.
- Assist the Government in conducting integrated quality assurance testing for security functionality and resiliency on all developed solutions while tracking quality assurance metrics, such as defect dispositions and resolutions.
- Utilize Agile DevSecOps practices; follow an approach of plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, and monitor when supporting the development and writing / coding of new (or modify existing) computer applications, software, or specialized utility / programs.
- Assist the Government in conducting project activities by utilizing scrum methodologies and practices.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevSecOps engineering.
- US Citizenship / No Dual
Other Job Specific Skills- Must be detail oriented, as well as able to work well with clients.
- Experience with Agile development and best practices.
