Responsibilities

  • Review and approve styles, materials, and color executions while communicating with partners

Description

Overview:

The Designer will work cross functionally with Graphic Design, Sales and Merchandising to create and develop seasonal apparel lines while supporting the overall brand's objective.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Conduct seasonal research and identify trends across style, fit, and color to inform, evolve, or support the Littles brand strategy
  • Partner with brand leadership across both Nike HQ and Haddad NYO to execute Littles designs against strategic priorities and areas of suggested alignment specifically within "Design Sprint" timelines
  • Filter creation, development, and execution of design process through the overall brand strategy and merchandise objectives for the Littles business
  • Create technically accurate 2D & 3D CAD sketches of styles in development
  • Maintain regular communication with Design and Merchandising teams to review product development progress, align on priorities, and share feedback
  • Execute and maintain accurate tech packs to support product development and commercialization needs
  • Where applicable, brief in and virtually attend all fit sessions from concept through production, ensuring design intent is achieved
  • Review and approve styles, materials, trims, and color executions as needed, while clearly communicating approvals to cross-functional partners
  • Support sampling communication and coordination between sample rooms, Design, and cross-functional teams as required
  • Attend and recap key corporate milestone and cross-functional meetings, identifying actionable next steps, feedback, and timelines
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Graphic Design, Merchandising, Operations, and Sales teams to prepare line reviews and presentation materials for market and corporate meetings
  • Partner cross-functionally to gather, synthesize, and present both brand and business insights leading into seasonal and collaborative milestone meetings
  • Partner cross-functionally to plan, concept, develop, and deliver product assortments aligned to GGP milestone timelines, ensuring execution
  • Special projects as assigned

Salary Description
