Description
Overview:
The Designer will work cross functionally with Graphic Design, Sales and Merchandising to create and develop seasonal apparel lines while supporting the overall brand's objective.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct seasonal research and identify trends across style, fit, and color to inform, evolve, or support the Littles brand strategy
- Partner with brand leadership across both Nike HQ and Haddad NYO to execute Littles designs against strategic priorities and areas of suggested alignment specifically within "Design Sprint" timelines
- Filter creation, development, and execution of design process through the overall brand strategy and merchandise objectives for the Littles business
- Create technically accurate 2D & 3D CAD sketches of styles in development
- Maintain regular communication with Design and Merchandising teams to review product development progress, align on priorities, and share feedback
- Execute and maintain accurate tech packs to support product development and commercialization needs
- Where applicable, brief in and virtually attend all fit sessions from concept through production, ensuring design intent is achieved
- Review and approve styles, materials, trims, and color executions as needed, while clearly communicating approvals to cross-functional partners
- Support sampling communication and coordination between sample rooms, Design, and cross-functional teams as required
- Attend and recap key corporate milestone and cross-functional meetings, identifying actionable next steps, feedback, and timelines
- Collaborate closely with Design, Graphic Design, Merchandising, Operations, and Sales teams to prepare line reviews and presentation materials for market and corporate meetings
- Partner cross-functionally to gather, synthesize, and present both brand and business insights leading into seasonal and collaborative milestone meetings
- Partner cross-functionally to plan, concept, develop, and deliver product assortments aligned to GGP milestone timelines, ensuring execution
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design
- 5+ years of experience in the fashion industry (children's wear knowledge a plus)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lead and develop a team of Assistant/Associate Designer(s)
- Brand appropriate aesthetic
- Must have active wear and boys design experience

Salary Description
$75,000 - $125,000 per year
