Lead people, elevate design standards, and help shape distinctive high-design residential work.The opportunity This is a hands-on leadership role for an architect or design leader who thrives in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment. You will guide design teams, strengthen workflows, influence the quality of custom residential projects, and still have opportunities to contribute directly to high-profile design work.
What you will do- Partner with design leadership to maintain a high standard of performance and advance design quality through aligned operations, strong teamwork, and proactive problem solving.
- Ensure project design direction reflects the firm's design ethos, standards, tools, and best practices.
- Lead designer staffing and workload distribution across multiple active projects.
- Coach, mentor, train, interview, and hire design talent while setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable.
- Create, monitor, update, document, and train processes and procedures for design-related work.
- Promote consistent use of design technology, including SketchUp, Revit, Bluebeam, and related visualization tools.
- Collaborate with visualization teams and support client-facing design presentations, models, and project assets.
- Provide architectural design direction and oversight for custom residential work and step in as a designer on high-profile projects when needed.
- Support sales and marketing teams with design insight and accurate design collateral as appropriate.
- Help coordinate a design committee, keeping discussions focused on current priorities and design standards.
What you bring- 6+ years of residential and/or hospitality architectural experience within an architecture, homebuilding, or hands-on construction environment.
- 3+ years of architectural management experience, including leading design teams and establishing priorities and expectations.
- Professional Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Architecture program.
- Architectural registration preferred, or active progress toward licensure.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to pivot, motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional professionalism, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Routine proficiency with SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, and Enscape is preferred.
Self-directed working style and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited day-to-day handholding.

The work environmentThis is an in-office role in Las Vegas. The environment is open and collaborative, with frequent interaction across the organization. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, moving quickly, and adapting to changing project demands. Weekly manager one-on-ones and hands-on learning are part of the team culture.
Interview noteThe interview process may include a facilitated Revit assessment. The assessment has historically been designed as a remote desk exercise and may take up to approximately three hours.
