Mechanical Design Engineer to lead product design
from concept through production.
What You'll Do - Design and develop new mechanical products while enhancing existing product lines.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Perform engineering analysis and calculations to validate designs.
- Support prototype development, testing, and new product introduction activities.
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet performance requirements.
- Drive engineering changes, product improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Investigate production challenges and recommend effective design solutions.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
- Experience developing engineering drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
- Familiarity with prototype development, engineering change processes (ECO/ECN), and product validation.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
