Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
• 5 - 10 years of work experience; knowledge of gear motors, electric motors and drives is an advantage.
• Strong ability to interpret complex technical instructions, including mathematical and diagrammatic forms.
• Preferred experience with mechanical motion systems and motion control systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and engineering design software, such as Solidworks, MatLab, and Altium.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the design and production release of customer-centric products.
• Analyze engineering data to inform modifications and changes to products and components.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to optimize product operations and assess feasibility.
• Develop and present technical information for strategic planning initiatives.
• Recommend resources to improve product performance and address design/manufacturing challenges.
• Plan and execute experimental test programs; analyze data to verify design specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering and customer teams to ensure interrelated design processes are completed.
