Position/Program Information
The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader to serve as Deputy Director, Independent Pretrial Services Agency.

This unclassified (at-will) position reports to executive leadership and will lead the County's efforts to strengthen and expand pretrial services, diversion strategies, and coordinated care pathways for justice-impacted individuals throughout Los Angeles County.

The Deputy Director will oversee the Independent Pretrial Services Agency and related initiatives focused on improving access to community-based services, reducing unnecessary incarceration, and supporting evidence-based alternatives to detention.
