About the Role:The Deployment Strategist serves as the primary owner of customer implementations, guiding projects from sales handoff through successful go-live while partnering closely with customers and internal stakeholders. This is a project management role focused on planning, communication, coordination, and execution rather than technical implementation.
In this position, you will manage multiple customer deployments simultaneously, establish implementation roadmaps, lead kickoff meetings, facilitate recurring client touchpoints, and ensure projects stay on schedule. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust while keeping customers and internal teams aligned throughout the implementation journey.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Own customer implementations from sales handoff through successful go-live.
- Lead internal and customer kickoff meetings, documenting project objectives, milestones, and success criteria.
- Build and manage implementation roadmaps, timelines, and project plans.
- Facilitate weekly or biweekly customer meetings to provide updates, address challenges, and maintain project momentum.
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the deployment lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, task management, and implementation records.
- Guide customers through change management initiatives and implementation best practices.
- Deliver engaging customer training sessions and explain complex concepts in a clear, approachable manner.
- Support data collection and implementation readiness activities while ensuring information remains organized and accurate.
- Hold customers and internal partners accountable to project timelines and key milestones.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to support deployments and implementation activities.
Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, customer onboarding, implementation consulting, or project management.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple customer implementations simultaneously.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with confidence leading customer-facing meetings.
- Experience building relationships with customer stakeholders and influencing project outcomes.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail with disciplined documentation and task management habits.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams.
- Positive, personable, and customer-first approach with the ability to build trust quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience implementing SaaS software for enterprise or mid-market customers.
- Background in the home services or trades industry.
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management platforms.
- Exposure to data collection, migration preparation, or implementation readiness activities.
- Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives during software implementations.
