Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Deployment Lead (Alliances), you will work directly with Aaru's strategic alliance partners to deliver high-impact simulation projects while helping build the systems and capabilities that allow those partners to scale Aaru across their own organizations and client base.

You will work closely with Aaru's founders and senior leaders at partner organizations, moving between hands-on deployment, strategic problem-solving, joint selling, and building repeatable ways of working using the most exciting predictive technology since the astrolabe. The role combines the rigor of strategy consulting with the pace and ownership of a small, high-growth technology company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own relationships end-to-end with strategic partners and the clients they're working with, from discovery and scoping through deployment and long-term collaboration
  • Execute complex, high-quality deliverables independently and at speed, translating rough direction into client-ready outputs
  • Represent Aaru in senior settings with partner and client leadership, including CEOs, executive partners, CMOs, and C-suite equivalents, with the presence and polish to make every interaction land
  • Sell and deliver alongside alliance partners on strategic opportunities, helping identify use cases, shape proposals, scope engagements, and win work
  • Build the systems, operations, and repeatable business motions that enable partners to sell and deliver Aaru at scale
  • Develop playbooks, best practices, governance, and operating rhythms for how Aaru is positioned, sold, deployed, and expanded within an alliance
  • Help partners stand up Aaru Centers of Excellence, including training and train-the-trainer programs that build internal partner capabilities
  • Work across Aaru's engineering, product, deployment, and commercial teams to translate partner needs into scalable solutions and keep engagements on track
  • Identify opportunities to expand Aaru's footprint across partner accounts, practices, and industries
  • Bring a transformation-oriented perspective to how Aaru can be embedded into partners' offerings, workflows, and client engagements
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF
  • You have 5+ years at a top strategy consulting firm, Big 4, or in a strategic operations, alliances, or partnerships role at a high-growth technology company
  • You've owned workstreams, client relationships, partnerships, or commercial initiatives - not just supported them
  • You have financial services experience and fluency in the industry; experience across banking, insurance, asset management, payments, or related sectors is particularly relevant
  • You're self-directed in ambiguity - you can shape an unclear ask into a crisp workstream, flag issues early, and deliver without hand-holding
  • You have strong analytical skills and can work fluently with complex data and communicate findings clearly in writing and in person
  • You have strong commercial instincts and are comfortable both selling with partners and building the systems that allow them to sell independently
  • You understand how large organizations adopt new technologies and have experience navigating complex transformation or organizational change
  • You're excited to work fully in-person in NYC and bring genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technology
STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO
  • Speak multiple languages
  • Have proficiency in Python or familiarity with AI tools and complex software
  • Have a background in technology or engineering
  • Have experience implementing and executing projects across long timescales
  • Have experience building or managing strategic alliances with major consulting firms, technology companies, or financial institutions
  • Have experience launching or scaling partner-led go-to-market motions, channels, or ecosystems
  • Have experience building Centers of Excellence, enablement programs, certification programs, or train-the-trainer programs
  • Have experience with large-scale business or technology transformation
  • Have a background in traditional market research and consumer insights (e.g., survey design, focus groups, quantitative/qualitative analysis, syndicated data sources) with a strong foundation in translating research findings into actionable business recommendations
