Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Dental Hygienist, you'll help patients maintain healthy smiles through preventive care, patient education, and collaboration with our dental team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and periodontal maintenance
- Assess patients' oral health and identify potential concerns
- Take digital dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and periodontal health
- Communicate clinical findings and treatment recommendations to the dentist
- Collaborate with doctors and other team members to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Build trusting relationships with patients and help them feel comfortable during appointments
- Promote long-term oral health through individualized patient education
What We're Looking For- Active Iowa Dental Hygienist license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality patient care and preventive dentistry
- Ability to educate patients and build positive relationships
