Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with BDT Sales and Amazon Supply Chain teams on inventory planning and forecasting strategies
  • Lead consensus planning meetings to align with customer program strategies
  • Conduct category analysis for promotional activities and product placements
  • Execute the Ready for Season process for item setup and data accuracy
  • Manage SKU listings and forecasting files for all retailer e-commerce accounts
  • Build collaborative relationships with Scotts planning team for program execution
  • Serve as the point of contact for Regulatory Support and ensure compliance with state and county restrictions

We’re looking for a Sr Analyst, Forecast & Planning at Amazon BDT

If you enjoy a fast-paced, high energy and seasonal manufacturing environment then you will fit in well as a Sr. Analyst, Forecast & Planning for Scotts Miracle-Gro.  On a day-to-day basis you will collaborate with many different teams at Scotts and Amazon to align inventory goals and drive customer program strategies.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with BDT Sales team and Amazon Supply Chain team to align inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment strategies that drive key metrics including, but not limited to, forecast accuracy, in-stock (weeks of supply), and inventory turns.

  • Lead regular consensus planning meetings for assigned categories to maintain alignment with customer program strategies. 

  • Own and execute category analysis that supports current and future SMG programs around promotional activity and off-shelf product placement.

  • Executes the Ready for Season process to track item set up, ensuring all data is accurate and submitted in a timely manner for new and existing products.

  • Coordinate Program Product Offering; manage SKU listings and forecast files, drive new item setup with Sales and in customer systems for all retailer ecommerce accounts, manage Monday boards with the content team. 

  • Build collaborative relationships with Scotts planning team to ensure flawless execution of customer programs.

  • Point of contact for Regulatory Support; maintain accurate State and County Restrictions on customer sites to ensure compliance.

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or other applicable fields

  • Business experience in Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Fulfillment, or Distribution in either a retail or consumer products manufacturing environment. Experiences with ecommerce retailers is a plus

  • Systems experience using SAP, JDA, Kinaxis, Amazon Vendor Central or similar 

  • Experience with forecasting dashboards, AI and other Forecasting tools 

  • Strong analytical and statistical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Access and Excel

  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally within the organization

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $87,600.00 - $103,100.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
