Full Job Description
FCP Euro is in search of a talented Demand Planner to bolster our existing team and to take on a new challenge. Our mission as a supply chain is to plan for, source, procure and deliver the right products at the right time with the most optimized cost and quality to our customers. This role is imperative to that mission, forging tight relationships with our consumer division, validating and pressure testing forecasts, and ensuring we are generating the right signals to pass on to our supply planning partners. This impactful work helps improve inventory in stock levels, putting quality parts in the hands of customers quickly and consistently. With our ever-growing SKU set, this role has an opportunity to greatly impact how we scale our demand planning processes for the future.

Responsibilities and Duties

Category Demand Planning: Own the end-to-end demand planning process for assigned product categories, continuously improving forecast quality while aligning cross-functional teams around a single demand plan.
  • Own monthly demand planning and forecasting for assigned product categories.
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy through root cause analysis, statistical review, and business insight.
  • Lead monthly Consensus meetings for assigned categories, driving alignment across Product, Marketing, Pricing, Merchandising, Supply Planning, and Leadership.
  • Translate business initiatives, including promotions, new product launches, assortment changes, pricing actions, and seasonality, into accurate demand plans.
  • Tell the story behind the numbers. Transform data into clear business narratives that enable leaders to make timely, confident decisions-not simply report historical performance.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the demand plan and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with Supply Planning to communicate material forecast changes and ensure inventory strategies align with expected demand.
  • Champion S&OP deliverables, ensuring demand planning outputs support executive decision-making and enterprise planning objectives.
  • Continuously improve forecast assumptions through structured post-event reviews and lessons learned.

Reporting & Business Analytics: Develop analytical capabilities that transform historical performance into actionable insights and improve future forecasting decisions.
  • Build and maintain a library of forecasting intelligence that captures learnings from promotions, new product launches, assortment changes, pricing actions, and seasonal events.
  • Develop repeatable analyses around incrementality, cannibalization, halo effects, launch ramps, promotional lift, and demand elasticity.
  • Design dashboards and reporting that provide clear visibility into category performance, forecast health, and business drivers.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into compelling business narratives that enable cross-functional teams and leadership to make informed decisions.
  • Develop KPI reporting that measures forecast accuracy, bias, service level impacts, and forecast value-add.
  • Leverage analytical insights to continuously refine forecasting assumptions and improve future planning outcomes.

Process Innovation & Integrated Business Planning: Help shape the future of planning by driving continuous improvement and advancing our planning maturity.
  • Champion the evolution of our S&OP process and help drive the organization's roadmap toward Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate planning processes.
  • Develop scalable planning tools, templates, and best practices that improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen planning governance and decision-making processes.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of new planning capabilities, systems, and technologies.
  • Act as a change leader, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across planning functions.

Qualifications and Skills
  • BA or equivalent, preferably in a related area (supply chain, finance, engineering, economics)
  • 4+ years of experience in demand planning in a high SKU count environment and have worked in an MRP or Demand Planning System.
  • Experience operating within an IBP framework; experience implementing or maturing an IBP process is a significant plus.
  • Driven, willing to dive deep and learn
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate large data sets into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Automotive aftermarket experience is a plus

Benefits and Perks
  • Company-subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, including a zero-premium Medical plan for employees. Company HSA contribution.
  • 120 hours of PTO (Paid Time Off), 40 hours of Paid Sick Time plus Company Holidays
  • 401k with Company deposit and match.
  • Discounted prices on our catalog of European car parts!

Compensation
  • This is an exempt role with a base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $87,500 to $131,200 annually.
