- More Experienced Associates: $160,000-$205,000 DOE

Corporate & Mergers and Acquisitions Associate to join its expanding transactional practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with
1-3 years of experience who is looking to gain hands-on exposure to sophisticated corporate transactions while working directly with an accomplished partner and experienced deal team.
The ideal candidate will have experience, or meaningful exposure, to
M&A transactions, corporate matters, finance, lending, or other transactional work and possess a strong desire to build a long-term career in corporate law.
This position offers significant client contact, substantive responsibility, professional development, and a clear path for growth within the firm.
What You'll Do - Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic business transactions.
- Assist with structuring, negotiating, and documenting corporate and finance transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, organizational documents, and related transactional materials.
- Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction closings.
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated middle-market transactions.
- Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, finance, real estate, tax, and other practice areas.
- Participate in client meetings and communications.
- Develop practical, business-focused solutions for clients.
- Manage multiple assignments while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and responsiveness.
- Build strong client and internal relationships through collaboration and outstanding service.
QualificationsRequired - J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to practice, or eligibility for admission, in the applicable jurisdiction.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, finance, lending, or another transactional practice area.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest in transactional law and business matters.
Preferred - Exposure to mergers and acquisitions transactions.
- Experience with commercial finance, lending, private equity, or general corporate matters.
- Experience working directly with clients and managing portions of transactions.
- Desire to develop a sophisticated transactional practice and build long-term client relationships.
