In this role, you will apply modern data science practices to tackle challenging datasets and drive technology discovery across radio frequency (RF), Very High Frequency (VHF), and Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) domain spaces. You won't just sit behind a screen crunching numbers-you'll manipulate raw data, craft compelling visual stories, and assist in technical discovery to illuminate complex operational problems. The annual base salary range for this role is $119,000-$140,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- Data Manipulation & Wrangle: Hands-on experience parsing, normalizing, and structuring messy or unstructured datasets for analytical use.
- Data Visualization: Demonstrated capability to create clear, impactful data visualizations and dashboards using modern scripting tools or analytical frameworks.
- Programming Skills: Core proficiency in Python (or related data scripting languages) for data processing and analysis.
- Analytical Curiosity: Ability to perform tech-discovery and anomaly detection across complex technical or signal-adjacent datasets.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, PLUS
3+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or technical analysis OR
Master's Degree in a related field, PLUS
1+ years of professional experience OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
7+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsSignals & TechELINT Exposure: Prior exposure to Technical Electronic Intelligence (TechELINT) data, signal parameters, or telemetry analysis.
RF & Communications Awareness: Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF), VHF/UHF, Digital Mobile Radio (DMR), or wireless communications protocols.
Modern Tooling: Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks, Git, and popular Python data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
