Location: Los Angeles, CA (hybrid or if out of the area, remote)

Type: Remote/Hybrid/On-Site - MUST BE RESIDING IN THE U.S.

What You'll Do
  • Turn data into decisions: Design and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards that track KPIs like cost, schedule, safety, and quality across large portfolios and construction programs.
  • Connect the dots: Pull data from PMIS platforms (Unifier, e-Builder, PMWeb), Primavera P6 schedules, SharePoint, financial systems, and more into one unified view.
  • Drive project success: Support project and construction management assignments, from planning through delivery, always keeping scope, budget, and schedule in focus.
  • Make it user-friendly: Translate complex data into clean, intuitive visuals and reports that executives, PMs, and field staff can all use with confidence.
  • Level up the team: Train colleagues and clients on how to read dashboards, understand the story the data is telling, and apply insights in real time.
  • Lead change: Support the rollout of new BI tools, develop reporting standards, and help teams embrace smarter, faster ways of working.

What You Bring
  • 8 years minimum as a data scientist.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or Construction Management (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, automated refresh pipelines).
  • Familiarity with engineering and construction project management concepts, budgets, schedules, risks, deliverables.
  • Hands-on experience with project controls tools: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams, PMIS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for making data approachable.
  • Experience presenting to executives and mentoring teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Experience with public works, utilities, or transportation projects.
  • PMP or other project management certification.
  • Background in process improvement, automation, or system integration.
  • Prior work on PMIS implementations or other BI tool rollouts.


Salary Package:
$ 150,000.00 - 175,000.00 (US Dollar)
