Data Scientist
Why This is an Exciting Role:
BI&A is seeking Data Scientist with Tableau expertise to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Sponsor's mission by providing data analysis services that deliver actionable insights. Your work will enable the Sponsor's customers to make informed decisions related to production, resource allocation, and personnel management.
Position Roles & Responsibilities
Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to process and analyze complex datasets, identifying key challenges and opportunities for the Sponsor's customers.
Develop, maintain, and enhance data graphics, interactive dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau to communicate insights effectively.
Leverage coding skills to preprocess, clean, and structure unstructured data for analytical purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into meaningful data-driven solutions.
Provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making related to production, resources, and personnel.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality across all analyses and visualizations.
Document methodologies, processes, and insights in clear, concise formats for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and SQL querying
Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Python or R programming with relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
Minimum of 5 years of experience with time-series data analysis and producing data visualizations
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Tableau Prep
Experience using Splunk, including automated processes in the Sponsor's environment
Experience using Sponsor's enterprise services, security controls, and data management practices
