The role shapes the strategic direction for data integration, governance, platform capabilities, and data consumption patterns while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
Your role:
• You will evaluate the data capabilities and requirements of enterprise application technologies and determine how they can effectively operate within the broader enterprise data landscape, with Salesforce currently being the primary technology focus.
• You will translate business needs into Salesforce Data Cloud design decisions that enable Customer 360, segmentation, consent-aware activation, and trusted commercial insights.
• You will set the enterprise approach for how Salesforce connects with data platforms such as OneDX (Snowflake) and other enterprise sources, balancing federation, ingestion, sharing, and operational integration needs.
• You will shape the analytics architecture for CRM users by enabling governed metrics, decision-ready dashboards, and embedded insights within business workflows.
• You will lead the CRM data migration approach from legacy platforms, ensuring data readiness, business validation, reconciliation, and cutover alignment for phased global rollout.
• You will establish operating standards for CRM data quality, stewardship, lineage, lifecycle management, privacy, and secure access in alignment with enterprise governance and regulatory expectations.
• You will guide architecture choices that support high-volume data, performance, scalability, sharing, visibility, and long-term platform maintainability.
• You will provide the data foundation for AI-enabled CRM use cases, including Einstein and future Agentforce scenarios, by ensuring customer and commercial data is unified, trusted, and governed.
• You will lead data architecture workshops with business, IT, enterprise architecture, product, analytics, implementation partner, and regional rollout teams to validate requirements and decisions.
• You will communicate architecture recommendations, roadmap implications, risks, trade-offs, and investment considerations to business and IT stakeholders.
Your expertise:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise data management, or CRM data architecture roles within complex global environments.
• Strong background in enterprise data architecture, CRM data structures, master data concepts, data quality management, and governance frameworks.
• Practical Salesforce Data Cloud experience across data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, profile unification, segmentation, and activation use cases.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, TrueFoundry, or BigQuery and connecting them to CRM, analytics, or customer data ecosystems.
• Proven ability to deliver governed analytics using Tableau, Tableau Next, CRM Analytics, or comparable BI platforms in enterprise environments.
• Expert-level SQL and practical experience with ETL/ELT design, batch and streaming ingestion, data transformation, and performance optimization at enterprise scale.
• Track record of contributing to complex CRM or enterprise data migrations from legacy systems into modern cloud platforms.
