Role Overview:This role seeks an experienced Data Lineage Lead to drive data lineage initiatives with a strong focus on Data Lineage, Metadata Management, and Data Catalog. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing Data Lineage, ensuring end-to-end visibility of critical data assets and metadata management for analytics, reporting, AI, and regulatory compliance. The role requires engaging with both technology teams and business stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional discussions, and driving adoption across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain end-to-end data lineage across source systems, data platforms, analytical environments, and reporting layers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate lineage capture and visualization.
- Support regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements through transparent data traceability.
- Identify critical data elements and establish lineage frameworks for key business domains.
- Lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise metadata management capabilities.
- Define and maintain business, technical, and operational metadata standards.
- Drive onboarding of critical data assets into the enterprise data catalog.
- Establish governance processes for metadata stewardship, ownership, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure metadata is accurate, current, and aligned to business processes.
