Overview

The Data Governance & Analytics Architecture Director is a leader within the Health Enablement Analytics organization responsible for ensuring all data, analytics, and AI initiatives are built on a scalable, standardized, and governed foundation. This role serves as a subject matter expert for data governance, analytics architecture, and AI/ML best practices across Health Enablement. This role provides advisory leadership, technical guidance, and architecture standards to ensure analytics and innovation efforts are aligned to enterprise data strategy and built in a scalable, sustainable manner.

 

This position operates as a consultative technical partner to Innovation, Analytics, and Reporting teams helping shape how solutions are designed and delivered; enabling Health Enablement Analytics to operate as a reliable, high-impact capability, driving measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Data Governance & Standards

  • Contribute to the development of data governance standards, and best practices across analytics and reporting
  • Provide guidance on data quality, consistency, and appropriate use of enterprise data assets
  • Support the standardization of data models, business metrics, and reusable data assets to improve consistency and efficiency
  • Implement governance frameworks, ensuring policies are embedded into day-to-day data and analytics workflows
  • Establish clear data stewardship accountability across business and analytics teams 
  • Oversee data quality processes, metadata management, and governance monitoring to ensure sustained data integrity 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Information Governance, data risk, and compliance alignment 

Data Architecture & Platform Alignment

  • Drive standardization of data assets to reduce fragmentation and enable consistent cross-domain insights 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on analytics architecture across BI, reporting, and advanced analytics
  • Partner with teams to ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise data platforms and long019term strategy
  • Recommend architectural approaches that support scalability, interoperability, and reuse

Technical Enablement & Scalable Delivery

  • Serve as a technical SME contributing to AI/ML standards and best practices
  • Provide guidance to ensure analytic and AI solutions are designed for scalability and sustainability
  • Advise on approaches to monitor performance, manage technical debt, and identify architectural risk
  • Assess technical feasibility of innovation and analytics initiatives and provide input on viable solution approaches
  • Consult on solution design to support production readiness and scalability
  • Identify constraints in data or architecture and propose practical workarounds to enable business outcomes
  • Define guardrails that enable faster decision-making and reduce execution friction 

Cross019Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a consultative technical partner to Innovation, Data Science, Reporting, and broader enterprise teams
  • Translate business and analytics requirements into technical solutions and executable designs 
  • Provide input on feasibility, architecture, and standards to support solution development
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure analytics solutions are aligned with enterprise direction while meeting business needs
  • Contribute technical expertise to vendor evaluations and platform decisions as needed
  • Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience enabling analytics and AI/ML solutions to scale from prototype to production deployment
  • Strong understanding of BI platforms, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data lifecycle management
  • Experience working across analytics, product, engineering, and innovation teams in complex environments
  • Ability to translate business and analytics priorities into scalable technical architecture and design
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment as part of a distributed team with effective communication and collaboration skills.

Base compensation ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for discretionary bonus consideration.
