Work You'll Do As a Security Engineer III on the mission-focused technology and security team, you will be responsible for:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure platform and data engineering solutions within the Jupiter/Advana environment
- Support the ingestion, transformation, and mapping of external data sources into Palantir Foundry or Palantir Gotham
- Use Databricks to develop data workflows, perform data transformations, and improve platform performance
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholder teams to prepare and serve data for Tableau and Qlik dashboards
- Troubleshoot technical issues, document configurations, and support operational readiness across enterprise data environments

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Active Secret security clearance
- Must be local to Suffolk, Virginia or willing to commute to Suffolk, Virginia to work onsite 5 days per week
- 3+ years of professional experience in security engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering
- 1+ year of experience developing data pipelines, performing data transformations, and creating ontology mappings in Palantir Foundry or Palantir Gotham
- 2+ years of experience developing workflows in Databricks/Jupiter and using PySpark, Python, and Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience developing or supporting Tableau or Qlik dashboards
- Experience preparing and serving data sets for business intelligence and reporting use cases

This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,700 to $179,500.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
