Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 / year
DescriptionThis is a hands-on technical role focused on the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of Brivo's global data center infrastructure. You will manage the end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle-deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and decommissioning hardware-while driving automation and process improvements. As a technical lead for deployments and complex operational issues, you will establish technical standards and ensure high availability across our global sites.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy, maintain, upgrade, and decommission servers, storage, networking, and data center infrastructure.
- Serve as the technical lead for physical infrastructure deployments and complex operational issues.
- Drive automation and process improvements that reduce manual effort across data center operations.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Perform root cause analysis for infrastructure incidents, manage asset inventory, and lead capacity planning.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise- 3+ years in data center operations, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical role.
- Austin-local (regular travel within the Austin metro area; no remote).
- Experience with DCIM and infrastructure management tools such as NetBox or Nautobot.
- Strong root-cause-analysis and troubleshooting skills across server hardware and physical infrastructure.
- Automation-oriented mindset with an AI-native posture (active user of tools like Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT).
