Full Job Description
Summary:

The Project Executive leads, manages, and coordinates all phases of the project from preconstruction through closeout.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, the design community, and organizations to enhance future business development opportunities.
  • Develop high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements on all projects.
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
  • Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to avoid delays, cost overruns, or quality issues.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure resources are efficiently allocated
  • Oversee the development of the master project schedule and manage its implementation.
  • Provide oversight for budget and financial management for all projects.
  • Support and drive utilization of initiatives and technologies.
  • Drive enforcement of safety protocols by the project staff.
  • You will oversee the group, as well as the internal and external teams supporting the data center, working collaboratively to mentor, guide, and help develop junior team members

Project Setup Phase
  • Lead new project setup activities, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives
  • Review, interpret, and support execution of client contracts and project execution frameworks
  • Establish project governance structure, reporting protocols, and delivery strategy

Feasibility / Site Selection Phase
  • Manage client communications during early-stage feasibility efforts
  • Oversee production and coordination of feasibility studies, test fits, and due diligence reports
  • Support site selection analysis including technical, logistical, and programmatic considerations

Due Diligence / Master Planning Phase
  • Maintain direct client engagement throughout due diligence and master planning activities
  • Coordinate procurement and management of key consultants (environmental, acoustical, geotechnical, hazardous materials, etc.)
  • Develop initial project budgets and high-level delivery schedules
  • Lead utility provider and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) engagement strategy
  • Manage zoning, entitlement, and regulatory approval processes

A/E Procurement Phase
  • Develop and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for architectural and engineering services
  • Lead evaluation of proposals and support selection and award recommendations
  • Negotiate and finalize professional services contracts
  • Maintain ongoing client communication throughout procurement process

Design Management Phase
  • Oversee coordination and performance of architectural and engineering design teams
  • Manage and track design schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Lead structured design reviews to ensure alignment with scope, budget, and client standards
  • Coordinate utility providers and AHJs during design development
  • Serve as primary client interface for design progress and issue resolution

GC Procurement Phase
  • Develop and issue RFPs for general contractors and major trade partners
  • Lead evaluation, leveling, and recommendation of contractor proposals
  • Negotiate and finalize construction contracts and scopes of work
  • Maintain client communication and alignment during procurement phase

Construction Management Phase
  • Provide oversight of general contractor performance and site execution
  • Manage coordination between design teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Lead QA/QC review processes to ensure compliance with project standards
  • Oversee schedule, budget, and change management processes
  • Support commissioning activities and turnover strategy
  • Maintain consistent client communication through construction lifecycle


Requirements
