OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to support the Softkill Coordination Subsystem (SKCS) program within the Electronic Warfare (EW) Combat Systems portfolio. This position provides hands-on experience working directly with test assets, tactical software, combat system interfaces, and multi-domain test environments. The analyst will support a combination of Test Support and Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities for SKCS including at-sea trials, land0based tests, integration events, and formal qualification testing. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working in Linux-based environments, and able to interpret system behavior, visualize performance data, and translate technical findings into clear, actionable reports.

Clearance
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements
- Experience supporting testing or evaluation of tactical Navy systems, preferably EW or combat systems
- Ability to analyze system behavior, interpret performance data, and identify discrepancies against requirements
- Strong technical writing skills to develop reports, presentations, and documentation
- Experience supporting system testing, data collection, or system validation activities
- Familiarity with Linux environments (RHEL preferred)
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, shell scripting (Bash), Visual Basic, or similar analytical tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (data analysis, charts, formulas, macros preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage test artifacts, file packages, and configuration data
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand SKCS test assets, test environments, requirements, interfaces, tactical libraries, and subsystem capabilities
- Assess whether software behavior matches documented requirements during testing and identify deviations
- Support execution of SKCS subsystem tests, including software build testing, regression testing, integration testing, Build Quality Tests (BQTs), and Formal Qualification Testing (FQT)
- Maintain and update SKCS test cases, test procedures, and the Specification Requirements Verification Matrix (SRVM)
- Collect, record, validate, and analyze data during on-site and off-site test events
- Document and submit Test Observation Reports (TORs) and Trouble Reports (TRs) for issues discovered during testing
- Travel to external test ranges to support data collection and ensure test event accuracy (at-sea trials, pierside events, land-based test sites such as Dahlgren, VA, Wallops Island, VA, and Mooresetown, NJ)
- Support integration testing with AN/SLQ032(V)6, AN/SLQ032(V)7, Aegis, and SSDS Combat System baselines
- Analyze test observation data, create data visualizations, and generate formal test documentation, including quick looks, SITREPs, performance summaries, and specification change requests
- Assist the I&T team as needed during daily stand-ups, Agile ceremonies, sprint activities, and ad-hoc meetings
- Maintain SKCS tactical hardware and software configuration, including simulation/stimulation tools and test scenarios
- Provide daily status updates and support coordination of test assets, schedules, and team activities across multiple sites and stakeholders
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Background in Combat System integration, test, or certification
- Experience supporting Navy Program Offices, NSWC labs, or SEWIP programs
- Understanding of SKCS or related EW program components
- Experience supporting at-sea test events or operating in dynamic test environments
- Ability to troubleshoot test environment issues and assist with maintaining lab configurations
EducationA Bachelor0s degree from an accredited college or university and/or minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience providing program planning and execution analysis to project managers.
Compensation
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate0s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $88,000 - $120,000(USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
