Job Title: Cyber Security Architect
Clearance Required: Secret
Work Location: Onsite; San Antonio, TX

Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Cyber Security Architect to support one of our federal government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains business systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs; develops information technology (IT) rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
  • Analyze and refine Health IT cyber systems requirements.
  • Translate systems requirements into application prototypes.
  • Plan and design systems architecture. Write, debug, and maintain code.
  • Determine and design applications architecture.
  • Determine output media/format and design user interfaces.
  • Work with customers to test applications.
  • Assure software and system quality and functionality.
  • Integrate hardware and software components.
  • Write and maintain program documentation.
  • Evaluate new applications software technologies; and/or ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated.

Experience/Skills:

  • 9+ years as an Enterprise Architect (Cyber)
  • Microsoft Certified: Cyber Security Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Required Changes based upon the environment, this could be specific to DHA, PEO MS/CIO (J-6), IOD, or DDSB specific.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active or recent previous DHA experience HIGHLY desired.

  • DoD Military Training: F07DZZ1 or M03385G or M10395B or M223854 or A-[redacted] now W-[redacted] or A-[redacted] or W-[redacted] or A-[redacted] now W-[redacted] or A-[redacted] or A-[redacted] or A-[redacted] or A-[redacted] or A-[redacted] / A-[redacted] or A-[redacted] or A-[redacted] or A-[redacted]
  • Proven history of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset


Certification(s):

Cloud+ CISSO or GCIA or GCSA or GCLD or GICSP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP (Conditional Alternative or GLSC or CISSP or approved by COR and System Owner)

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
