This position supports IndoPacific Command's Experimentation and Innovation Division. This position will support a variety of on-going projects that requires both offensive and defensive cyber subject matter expertise. This position will require extensive collaboration within the Indo Pacific Command staff and its Service components, as well as with national agencies, the Joint Staff, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense's staff. Travel is anticipated to be up to 10%.
Several of the project Valiant is executing on behalf of Indo-PACOM J81 Experimentation and Innovation Division requires both offensive and defense cyber operations capabilities. Additionally, the Strategic Capabilities Office is asking for additional cyber support from us.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support experimentation and innovation within US IndoPacific Command from a cyber perspective, to include supporting the Cyber Warfare Information Center
- Develop and author project plans, test plans, data collection plans, evaluation processes for innovative cyber activities that are linked to Command objectives
- Integrate cyber innovation efforts into various command post, virtual and field exercises
- Maintain awareness of all cyber authorities, roles, responsibilities and other policy issues that are germane to theater and national cyber activities
- Author evaluation reports, lessons learned, recommendations, and other documents to help guide the Command's cyber efforts
Requirements:
- Must be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance; applicants with an existing TS/SCI clearance will be favored. Applicants with a current poly will be favored.
- Must have at least 5 years of cyber mission team experience; applicants with more experience will be favored
- Must have at least 5 years of experience related to the IndoPacific theater; applicants with more experience will be favored
Must have the following certifications:
- CISSP
- Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures
- CCNA
- CCNA Security
