About the RoleWealth management is entering a structural transition in which private markets are increasingly expected to function inside managed and discretionary portfolio environments. Scaling private markets inside managed accounts depends on custodians operating against a shared, rules-based standard for safekeeping, settlement, and asset servicing rather than bespoke, bilateral arrangements.
The industry has marketplaces for private markets. What it lacks is a commercial and operational custodian base built to support scalable, standardized infrastructure.
APL provides the managed account operating foundation. Altic provides the rules-based network and lifecycle coordination layer for private markets operations. Together, these capabilities are intended to create a scalable operating environment for public and private investing inside wealth management.
InvestCloud is seeking a senior partnerships leader to build and own the commercial custodian base that makes the Altic network function, with immediate focus on custodian platforms and an expected expansion into other network participant types over time.
This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and commercially onboarding custodian partners onto the Altic network, and for owning those relationships on an ongoing basis through:
- Custodian identification and pipeline prioritisation
- Commercial structuring and negotiation
- Contracting coordination with Legal
- Ongoing relationship management
- Cross-functional handoff into Product and Engineering
The role sits at the intersection of:
- Custodian business development
- Commercial negotiation
- Relationship management
- Network operations
- Cross-functional coordination
This is not a traditional business development role. The position is responsible for building the commercial custodian infrastructure the Altic network depends on to scale.

- Balance Altic's network economics against custodian-specific requirements to close terms
Relationship Management - Act as the named relationship owner for custodian partners across the full partner lifecycle
- Run the ongoing relationship cadence covering performance, escalations, and commercial renewals
- Represent custodian requirements and constraints back into Altic's roadmap and commercial model
Cross-Functional Coordination - Manage the handoff from signed commercial agreement into Product and Engineering integration scoping
- Remain engaged through integration to provide custodians a single, consistent point of contact
