Description

Markon is seeking a Cyber Planner 3 to support the Fort Meade customer by planning, coordinating, and integrating cyber operations across mission partners. This role provides operational planning expertise, ensures mission activities align with established policy and doctrine, and serves as a key liaison between Government organizations to support the successful execution of cyber operations. The role works closely with operational, technical, and leadership teams to develop mission plans, synchronize activities, and enable strategic cyber objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with U.S. Cyber Command elements and mission partners to support cyber operations planning and execution
  • Develop, review, and synchronize operational plans in accordance with applicable cyber policy and doctrine
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders to integrate operational requirements into mission planning activities
  • Develop concepts of operation (CONOPS), planning documents, briefings, and operational reports for leadership and mission partners
  • Analyze mission objectives and recommend planning strategies to support operational execution and resource prioritization
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning efforts and facilitate communication between operational and technical teams
  • Ensure cyber operations are planned and executed in accordance with applicable authorities, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor mission activities and provide planning support throughout the operational lifecycle
  • Support strategic planning initiatives and contribute to long-term mission planning efforts
Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with Active Polygraph with this Customer.
  • Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience supporting cyber operations, operational planning, military planning, or Intelligence Community missions
  • Experience working with U.S. Cyber Command elements to enable cyber operations
  • Strong understanding of cyber operations policy, doctrine, and operational planning processes
  • Completion of the Intelligence Community Planner's Course (ICPC) or other relevant operational planning training required
  • Experience developing operational plans, CONOPS, campaign plans, or strategic planning documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations in a fast-paced operational environment
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting cyber operations or mission planning activities
  • Familiarity with the Joint Planning Process (JPP), Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), or similar operational planning methodologies
  • Experience supporting offensive or defensive cyber operations
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community operational planning processes
Salary RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
