Full Job Description
Provide technical analytic support to the DoD's Cryptographic Modernization efforts and coordinate alignment amongst DoD Components to meet the DoD CIO's cybersecurity goals and objectives. Conduct research and analysis on COMSEC, cryptography, cybersecurity, and IT network technical requirements and policy compliance to support the development of information papers and briefings for senior leadership. Actively participate in the planning and support of DoD COMSEC, network, and cybersecurity meetings to assess policy, requirements, and warfare capabilities to ensure the DoD CIO's positions are accurately presented. Create analytic products to support all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle, including Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development, integration of COMSEC and technical requirements, and efforts to track developing strategies. Provide programmatic analysis and assessments of information assurance and cybersecurity requirements and capabilities to support and defend the DoD's strategic investments.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with COMSEC, Cryptographic, Encryption, or Cybersecurity operations within the Intelligence Community and/or DoD programs
Knowledge of PPBE and requirements generation processes
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to leverage technical, analytic, and communication skills to develop and brief material to senior leadership to support decision-making
TS clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in COMSEC, IT, Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Space, or Cybersecurity Programs or 10+ years of experience in COMSEC, IT, Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Space, or Cybersecurity Programs in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with DoD CIO Policies
Experience with Financial Management or IT systems and databases
Knowledge of DoD cryptographic systems or devices currently in service and under development
Ability to work independently, collaboratively, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
