Minimum 1 year full-time RN experience in ED, CCU, or ICU
Current ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
Preferred SCTU experience (not mandatory)
Ability to obtain NJ EMT Certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities
Collaborate with EMT crew to provide care for critically ill patients
Assess and monitor patient conditions during inter-facility transport
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Document patient information and maintain compliance with protocols
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the transport process
Respond effectively to emergencies and critical situations
Lift and transport patients as needed while adhering to safety protocols

Full Job Description
As a SCTU Nurse, you will work collaboratively with an EMT crew to treat and provide care for critically ill patients on an inter-facility transport ambulance.
Scheduling Information
Full-time Transport Nurses will work three 12-hour shifts per week.
Compensation
Less than 2 years of SCTU Experience $46.00 hr
2 or more years of SCTU Experience $50.00 hr
EMT/Paramedic Certified: Additional $6.00 hr
Overnight shift differential
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New Jersey
At least 1 year of full time RN nursing experience in the Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care Unit (CCU), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Current ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications required
Prior SCTU (Specialty Care Transportation Unit) experience preferred but not required
Obtain NJ EMT Certification within 6 months of hire
Organization and the ability to properly utilize a confined space
Must be comfortable with heavy lifting as needed
Excellent inter-personal skills and attention to patient comfort
Detail-oriented regarding protocol adherence and documentation compliance
Ability to think quickly and react appropriately in critical situations without the presence of a physician
Capacity to maintain composure while working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
