Job Description

We're looking for compassionate Critical Care Flight Transport Nurses who are dedicated to providing advanced, life-saving care in high-pressure environments. In this role, you'll deliver critical care during air and ground transport, perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and interventions, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. You'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality care for critically ill or injured patients.

Patient Care & Treatment

Offer holistic and patient-centered nursing care in dynamic transport settings, focusing on the unique needs of critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients. Provide thorough assessments, implement advanced interventions, and monitor patient responses while maintaining a calm, respectful, and supportive approach for patients and their families.

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with EMS personnel, hospital staff, physicians, and the Flight Program Medical Director to deliver patient-focused services. You'll contribute to a highly coordinated and collaborative environment while supporting quality improvement and education initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure to practice in California
  • Minimum 3 years of ICU or ED RN experience
  • Experience with:
  • Management of unstable adult cardiac patients
  • Mechanical ventilator support
  • Invasive hemodynamic monitoring
  • BLS certification required and maintained
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, PHTLS or ATLS required
  • CFRN certification within 6 months of hire
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Completion of ICS courses (IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, IS-800B)
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language
  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers
