Join our team of highly-collaborative, innovative critical care clinicians. The Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono ICU is a combined medical and surgical ICU with a total 24 beds. Join us to experience exciting growth in our critical care division.
The Critical Care team at Lehigh Valley Hospital consists of two physicians and two APC providers and we are looking to add to this team.
In the Critical Care ICU at LVH-Pocono, you will experience:
* Must have at least 1 year of APP experience *
- 12 shifts per month of coverage.
- Typical shifts are 12 hours currently; however, the team works well together and has a lot of flexibility with the schedule and could consider 8- or 10-hour shifts.
- Providerstypically work 3 or 4 days consecutively.
- Must be flexible for day vs night coverage.
- Providers will work Day shift initially and work closely with the physicians for training.
- Team works together to ensure even rotation of weekends and holidays.
- Providers always can pick up additional shiftsfor moonlighting monies.
- Call is taken by physicians only.
- Providers will take part in procedures and should have familiarity but will also be trained by the Lehigh Valley Physician team. These procedures may include:
- Central lines
- Arterial lines
- Dialysis Lines
- Intubations
