Responsibilities

  • Provide care as an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the ICU
  • Manage patient care during 12-hour shifts covering medical/surgical ICU
  • Perform critical care procedures such as central and arterial line placement, chest tubes, bronchoscopy, intubations, and mechanical ventilation management
  • Collaborate with an MD and another advanced practice provider during day shifts
  • Handle after-hours responsibilities independently with MD support on-call
  • Participate in professional development opportunities with onboarding and mentoring
  • Contribute to a strong support system within the healthcare team

$ Hourly Wage Estimate: $190,000 - $200,000 / hour

Job Summary:
ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Acute care NP certification or PA License
  • Critical care provider experience or critical care fellowship preferred, not required
  • Mix of Days and Nights
  • 12-hour shifts covering a medical/surgical ICU
  • 1 MD and 1 APP (7am to 7pm);1 APP with MD on call for support (7 pm to 7 am)
  • Ability to work Full Time, 13 shifts per month
  • Ability to work autonomously at night with MD on call
  • Opportunity to also cover at sister facility, Mtn View, if needed
  • APP providers gain proficiency with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, Chest tubes, bronchs, intubations, and management of mechanical ventilation
