Were excited to announce that we are looking for an enthusiastic Emergency Services Team Lead for the Evening Shift to join our dynamic group at South Shore Hospital Emergency Department. This role will provide vital administrative and clinical support primarily during the evening hours. Throughout the business week, youll assist the Program Director with assigned tasks while maintaining a strong focus on clinical responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct crisis evaluations, mental status updates, brief interventions for addiction, discharge planning, and collaborate with our amazing treatment team!
Address and resolve administrative concerns, staff needs, and workflow issues in real time to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with hospital/Aspire management as needed to escalate urgent matters effectively.
Provide real-time support to clinicians conducting crisis evaluations and brief interventions for addiction, making a real difference!
Assist with complex triage concerns that arise, showcasing your problem-solving skills.
Act as a primary trainer for new crisis clinicians, offering orientation, shadowing, and ongoing clinical mentorship to foster their growth.
Provide valuable feedback and skill-building opportunities for new staff, helping them thrive!
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards, maintaining our high-quality care.
Support the creation of engaging training curriculum and materials that inspire learning.
Oversee evening and weekend workflow, including:
Allocating MSU assignments to optimize team performance.
Assigning and prioritizing initial crisis evaluations, ensuring timely response.
Allocating brief interventions for addiction to provide essential support.
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
LMHC or LICSW required.
2-4 years of experience in acute mental health.
Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations preferred to enhance our diverse team.
Excellent listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills to connect with our patients and colleagues
Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
Salary Range
$75,000-$95,000 USD
