Responsibilitie

ONE Studio, with teams in Shenzhen, Beijing, and Shanghai, oversees the distribution and long-term operation of ByteDance's self-developed and licensed games in China and abroad. Our portfolio includes titles such as MARVEL SNAP, Ragnarok X: Next Generation, The Legend of Hei Shan (花亦山心之月), and Core Crystal (晶核). By bringing together creative excellence and operational expertise, ONE Studio delivers engaging gaming experiences that inspire joy for players worldwide. - Anchor to the preferences and aesthetics of players across regions (North America, Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, etc.), and develop creative directions for publishing materials that align with the brand's positioning. - Oversee the quality of all creative outputs: maintain a consistent visual style to foster stable brand recognition among players, while ensuring compliance with global market standards (including cultural sensitivity and platform requirements). - Lead the creative conceptualization of core publishing materials and engage deeply in creative execution: refine storyboards to enhance the narrative appeal of PVs (Promotional Videos), define visual styles to captivate players' attention with KVs (Key Visuals), and adjust color schemes and copy to align with players' context. - Prioritize player appeal and resonance as the core creative goal for publishing materials: develop a thorough understanding of players to formulate creative solutions that resonate with their preferences and expectations. - Analyze player insights to identify unmet player needs, and integrate aesthetic standards to drive creative production-ensuring outputs balance artistic quality with player-centric relevance. - Collaborate cross-functionally to align goals: work closely with global publishing, marketing, and product teams to translate business objectives (user acquisition, brand exposure, sales conversion) into actionable creative solutions. Clearly communicate creative concepts to internal and external stakeholders, manage feedback workflows, and ensure on-time delivery of all materials.

Qualification

Minimum Qualification(s) - 3+ years of professional experience in creative design for global mobile or Steam game publishing, with proven hands-on experience leading the creation of large-scale publishing materials (portfolio required), including PVs, CG trailers, KVs, and store page assets. - Demonstrated experience collaborating with international teams; in-depth familiarity with the aesthetic preferences and cultural nuances of players in North America/Europe/Japan/Southeast Asia (preferred). - Passion for gaming: in-depth experience with both Steam platform PC games and mobile games, with the ability to accurately identify and leverage player preferences in creative work. - Strong creative acumen paired with a data-driven mindset; ability to balance artistic expression with business outcomes (e.g., user engagement, conversion rates).

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $94848 - $173280 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
