Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5-7 years of experience in cost controls or project controls on capital projects, ideally in Power & Energy sectors.
• Intermediate experience in forecasting, budget tracking, and cost reporting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with cost management and PMIS tools like EcoSys, Procore, or Oracle is preferred.
• Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) and project financial controls.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for translating cost data effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost control processes for energy-related projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Track actual costs and commitments to ensure reliable project management.
• Perform cost variance and trend analysis, recommending actions to mitigate risks.
• Utilize PMIS platforms to manage various cost-related documents and reports.
• Produce regular reports and dashboards indicating project cost status and risks.
• Support project close-out reporting and change management from a cost controls viewpoint.
