About the Team

The Strategy and Corporate Development Group at T. Rowe Price partners closely with T. Rowe's leadership team to define and execute the firm's long-term strategic agenda, drive growth initiatives, and enhance competitive positioning. The team operates as strategic advisors and execution partners, supporting enterprise-wide priorities including

strategic planning, growth initiatives, innovation, and corporate development.

Role Summary

The Director, Corporate Strategy will bring at least eight years of professional experience with progressive responsibility, including significant experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or within a high-performing corporate strategy organization. Experience serving asset management, wealth management, investment services, or broader financial services clients is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into actionable strategic recommendations.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, helping shape enterprise strategy, evaluate growth opportunities, and drive critical business initiatives. They will bring a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive dynamics, client needs, distribution models, product strategies, and emerging opportunities across the asset management landscape. The individual will synthesize data from multiple sources, develop compelling insights, and communicate recommendations clearly and confidently to executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines rigorous analytical thinking with strong executive presence, stakeholder management capabilities, and a demonstrated track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in dynamic environments. Experience supporting enterprise transformation, growth strategy, operating model design, market expansion, product innovation, or major strategic programs within asset management or financial services is highly desired. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the forces shaping the investment management industry and the ability to translate those insights into actionable business strategies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -8+ years of total relevant work experience
• Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or a leading corporate strategy function with progressive responsibilities
• Demonstrated success advising C-suite and senior executives on strategic business decisions
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Exceptional problem-solving and hypothesis-driven analytical skills
• Ability to structure ambiguous business issues and develop actionable recommendations
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Experience driving enterprise transformation, growth initiatives, operating model redesign, or strategic planning efforts
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business performance drivers

Preferred:

• Experience within asset management, wealth management, financial services, or fintech
• MBA from a leading program
• Experience supporting board-level or executive committee discussions
• Experience leading strategic initiatives through implementation and change management

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$159,000.00 - $272,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$175,000.00 - $299,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$199,000.00 - $339,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
