About the roleAs Manager, Corporate FP&A, you will own the consolidated view of Thumbtack's P&L - the forecast, the annual plan, and the reporting that goes to our leadership team and Board. This is a high-scope individual contributor role with direct exposure to the CFO and the Finance leadership team. You will also help rebuild how the work gets done: we are actively replacing manual FP&A processes with AI-assisted workflows, and we want someone who is excited to lead that, not just tolerate it. If you want to sit close to the decisions and help build a finance function that is ready for the next stage of the company, this is that seat.

- Build management and Board-level reporting, including Board decks, quarterly outlooks, and analysis that supports investor conversations
- Apply AI and workflow automation to core FP&A processes, replacing manual reporting and reconciliation work with something faster and more reliable
- Collaborate across Business Finance, Strategic Finance, Accounting, and Business Analytics to keep one consistent view of the numbers
- Lead ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling for the CFO and the leadership team on the questions that matter most that quarter
- Partner closely with Revenue Forecasting and serve as backup on the revenue and funnel forecast, including the weekly outlook and revenue flash
In order to be successful, you must bring- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with meaningful time spent in a corporate or consolidated finance function
- Excellent financial modeling skills in Excel and Google Sheets, with the judgment to know when a model should be simple and when it should not
- Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to real finance workflows, and a point of view on where they help and where they do not
- A track record of building management and Board-level reporting, including the written narrative that goes with the numbers
- Strong written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to senior executives
- Hands-on experience with EPM and ERP systems such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment, Aleph, Oracle Planning & Business Systems, NetSuite, SAP
