Full Job Description
H1's inorganic growth strategy is maturing. We have already successfully acquired and integrated two acquisitions over the past three years. Now we are looking to continue that record of success on a larger scale and across a wider range of targets. This role will own the financial related activities of the Corp Dev function including financial strategy, target screening, valuation modeling, financial due diligence, synergies analysis, pro-forma financial modeling and integrations planning.

- Build relationships with founders, financial institutions, fintech companies, technology platforms, investors, and other strategic partners
- Develop business cases, financial models, and strategic analyses to evaluate potential transactions and partnerships
- Lead opportunities from initial sourcing and outreach through diligence, negotiation, execution, and launch
- Partner directly with the executive team to evaluate new markets, products, geographies, and strategic initiatives
- Develop clear build, buy, or partner recommendations based on financial, strategic, and operational considerations
- Coordinate cross-functional diligence and execution across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Operations
- Structure and negotiate commercial agreements, strategic partnerships, investments, and acquisitions
- Build and maintain a pipeline of companies, partners, and opportunities that could be strategically valuable to H1
- Track market developments, competitors, and emerging trends across trading, fintech, payments, financial infrastructure, and adjacent markets
- Support post-transaction integration and help ensure strategic partnerships and acquisitions deliver against their objectives
ABOUT YOU
You are curious and ambitious. You want to know how a business works and what makes them succeed or fail. You don't know everything, but you use AI tools to learn and develop your knowledge structure.
