About this Role
At Fandom, the Corporate Development Director will be part of a visible and active function that drives the corporate development lifecycle, in partnership with our executive leadership, important operational team members and our private equity investor, TPG. You will report to the CFO/COO and work with senior leaders to manage all stages of the evaluation, diligence, and workflow processes that lead to acquisition, partnership and/or divestiture.
The Corporate Development function spearheads and works towards our M&A strategy by managing inbound deal flows and outbound deal sourcing. You will be responsible for ideating, researching, negotiating, structuring, executing impactful acquisitions. Work with the CFO/COO on deal sourcing, qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, due diligence and deal closing activities
Assist and provide support during M&A integration periods
Analyze industry trends to identify potential acquisition targets
Develop industry landscapes and competitive analyses for board/executive level review
Direct diligence efforts between internal and external parties
Analyze diligence data and create board/executive level presentations
Manage data room and distribution of materials to appropriate parties, act as primary contact for diligence requests
