Full Job Description
About the Role

We are seeking a Corporate Development Deal and Integration Lead to own DeployCo's inorganic growth agenda from strategy through integration. This is a foundational role that will operate as both transaction lead and integration architect: leading evaluation, diligence, structuring, negotiation, and close for acquisitions, while also building the integration muscle that turns deals into durable operating leverage.

This role will establish the playbooks, governance, and cross-functional operating model for future tuck-in acquisitions over the next several years. You will serve as a strategic partner to DeployCo's executive team and functional leaders across Delivery, Forward Deployed Engineering, Finance, Legal, People, IT, Recruiting, and OpenAI, helping ensure each deal strengthens DeployCo's capabilities, operating model, and long-term value creation.

In this role, you will:
  • Own end-to-end execution of DeployCo acquisitions, from thesis development and sourcing through diligence, valuation, negotiation, signing, and close.
  • Lead integration planning before sign and run post-close integration for DeployCo deals, including org design, talent retention, communications, systems/process integration, and value capture tracking.
  • Collaborate with OpenAI XFN stakeholders, including OpenAI Corp Dev team to share pipeline, socialize deal constructs and prepare OpenAI stakeholders with relevant context around DeployCo deals and integration operations
  • Partner with DeployCo and OpenAI leaders to identify inorganic priorities across talent, delivery capacity, geographic expansion, and new deployment capabilities.
  • Build board- and executive-ready materials, decision frameworks, and recommendations that balance strategic upside, operational risk, and financial discipline.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, People, IT, Security, Recruiting, and delivery leadership to manage diligence, structure transactions, and drive clean handoffs into execution.
  • Maintain a high-quality pipeline of tuck-ins and occasional larger opportunities, and continuously refine DeployCo's corp dev strategy as the business scales.

You may thrive in this role if you:
  • Have 10+ years of experience across corporate development, M&A, private equity, investment banking, or strategic finance, with clear ownership of transactions from initial outreach through close and integration.
  • Have led complex integrations and understand how to translate a signed deal into org clarity, retained talent, delivery continuity, and measurable value capture.
  • Are comfortable operating as a player-coach in a newly formed company: setting strategy and operating model while also doing the hands-on work to keep deals and integrations moving.
  • Combine strong financial and commercial judgment with practical operational instincts across services delivery, technical talent, organizational design, and change management.
  • Build trust quickly with founders, executives, and cross-functional partners, and communicate clearly when tradeoffs involve valuation, risk, scope, speed, or people impact.
  • Are excited about AI deployment and understand what capabilities, teams, and delivery models matter in building the company that defines AI deployment.
