Full Job Description
The Corporate Development Analyst supports the organization's growth strategy through financial analysis, market research, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, strategic planning, and business development initiatives. This role is responsible for evaluating potential acquisition, partnership, investment, and divestiture opportunities; conducting financial modeling and valuation analyses; performing due diligence; and preparing presentations and recommendations for senior leadership. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess strategic opportunities, identify risks, and support execution of corporate development transactions that align with the company's long-term objectives. The role also supports post-acquisition integration, project management and other activities to support growth for the business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses to assess strategic opportunities.
  • Conduct industry, market, competitor, and target company research.
  • Support M&A, joint venture, partnership, and other corporate development transactions through all phases of the deal lifecycle.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities and analyze financial, operational, and commercial data.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, business cases, executive presentations, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Monitor market trends and identify potential growth opportunities and strategic risks.
  • Partner with finance, legal, operations, and business leaders to evaluate and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Track transaction pipelines and maintain supporting documentation and reporting.
  • Support post-acquisition integration planning, including development of integration workstreams, timelines, governance structures, and synergy targets.
  • Coordinate integration activities across functional areas to facilitate the successful transition and alignment of acquired businesses.
  • Monitor and report on integration milestones, synergy realization, value capture, and key performance indicators.
  • Identify integration risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate significant concerns to leadership as appropriate.
  • Prepare integration status updates, executive dashboards, and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-transaction analyses to evaluate acquisition performance, achievement of strategic objectives, and lessons learned for future transactions.

  • Performance Reporting & Business Insights: Develops metrics, dashboards, and executive reports that monitor strategic, financial, operational, and integration performance against key objectives.
  • Communication & Influence: Synthesizes complex information into clear, concise presentations and recommendations while effectively engaging and influencing senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Technical Proficiency: Builds strong cross-functional relationships and leverages advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to support analysis, reporting, financial modeling, and presentation development.
